Bay Leaves

Just as how the ancient Greeks and Romans wore these as noble crowns in history, Bay leaves are also considered royal when it comes to culinary.

This spice is a perfect add-on while cooking meat stews, soups and veggie dishes. Once it hits the heat, its well-balanced pungency and fragrance can make any dish simply mouth-watering.

Although these leaves aren’t meant for eating because of its arid texture and only used for imparting flavor and aroma, they also make a beautiful embellishment for more presentable dishes.
